The Woven Collection was designed for the home of avid art collectors with an interest in design. They had several chandeliers from the Pucci series and were inspired to have the Studio develop seating for their house on Lake Austin in Texas. The Woven collection’s structure is based on airport seating, where each seat is built separately and attached to a continuous base. The challenge was to make the seat function well visually, mechanically, and ergonomically as both a single piece and as a repeating element.
